A good landscape project is a best solution. When making the project, the landscape designer project the foundation for a comfortable and beautiful garden according to the wishes and tastes of the customer. A landscape designer is not only responsible to choose plants and fit them on the appropriate site, this is a difficult process that begins with a search of the area and includes a range of works from garden planning to its implementation. In the process of creating a landscape project, the designer bases on customer requirements for the future garden according to the necessary requirements, and recommends optimal solutions.
The design process is divided into two parts:
1. Sketch design
2. Manual
The sketch project is a base, the concept of the future garden in an enlarged form. Being the basis of the project, it takes about 70% of the working time and labor of the designer. It includes:
1. Planning concept is to locate the main areas in a garden: recreation area, parking, lawn, garden, etc.
2. To find an appropriate style.
3. To land the main groups of plants ( plantings, flower beds, etc., without detailing by types and varieties).
4. The photographs with sketches are examples that demonstrate the separated elements of the sketch plan.

Manual
First of all the working documentation is required to specialists (workers, engineers, electricians, etc.) for implementation of landscape works, laying of networks, etc. For the customer, the working documentation is informative and necessary to understand how and where communications were laid, what materials were used, what plants were planted, etc.
The composition of the working documentation may vary depending on the situation in a particular area and the requirements for improvement, but usually consists of the following documents:
1. Final Plan - a plan for the layout, objects, trees and shrubs, paths and grounds;
2. Dendrology plan - a plan for the placement of trees and shrubs, indicating the types and varieties, as well as their number and size;
3. The landing plan is indicating the size of the elements of gardening and landscaping;
4. Statement of elements of gardening - a table with a detailed list of plants, their species, varieties, number and density of plantings;
5. Concentration on the focal points - a realistic photo-image of the main zones of the future garden;
6. 3D model of the site - the ability to virtually "walk" in the garden;
7. The project of the system of automatic watering is the documents concerning the elements of the watering system;
8. The light concept is the location of the fixtures, type and design of fixtures;
9. The list of workscontains the materials and their cost.
